Laura McKinzie is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in procedures related to skin concerns and skin cancers. She attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and received her RN-BSN degree in 2009 and her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2012. She has been employed by MidAmerica Plastic Surgery since 2013.
In the office, Laura performs skin checks and Modified Mohs procedures. She also can remove areas of concern including moles, lipomas, AKs, etc.
Outside of the office, she is a huge fan of anything Disney and Harry Potter related. Her favorite Disney movies are Cinderella and Moana. Laura and her husband have been married for nearly 10 years and together, they have two sons and two dogs. She has recently been promoted to Aunt and is already doing a fabulous job!
