How do I use Pro-Nox?
When you arrive at our office, a member of our medical staff will escort you to your procedure room to begin preparation for your procedure. Once all necessary tasks are completed and you are seated comfortably, you will be given a mouthpiece to begin your Pro-Nox inhalation. When you feel that you need Pro-Nox, simply breathe through the mouthpiece until you reach your desired level of comfort. You will be awake during your in-office procedure, making it simple to administer Pro-Nox when you need it.
What does Pro-Nox feel like?
Commonly, patients compare the feeling of Pro-Nox to the feeling one gets after a few glasses of wine. Although alert, patients are relaxed and content, but still fully aware of their surroundings. Once the procedure is complete and Pro-Nox is no longer being administered, the effects begin to wear off almost immediately. There is no need to arrange a ride home after using Pro-Nox. We recommend that patients wait just ten minutes before they get behind the wheel.
