HydraFacials are our most popular types of skin services here at The Spa at MidAmerica; with good reason too! HydraFacials cleanse the skin, extract impurities, and hydrate all the while, leaving your skin glowing and refreshed. Different from typical facials, HydraFacials are conducted through device, rather than by hand. This allows for deeper penetration of products and longer lasting results. Hydrafacials are for all skin types! For pregnant women, HydraFacials are a good option to treat your skin to some TLC (your provider would just skip the chemical peel step in your case).
With the start of the new year our aesthetician, Madi Reeves, helped to curate a simple, yet customizable HydraFacial menu for patients to browse: the Signature HydraFacial, Premier HydraFacial, and Ultimate HydraFacial. The foundation of our HydraFacial menu is to provide an all-inclusive experience designed to detoxify, rejuvenate and protect your skin.
Signature HydraFacial
The Signature HydraFacial includes three steps: a light chemical peel, extractions, and an antioxidant treatment. You may customize your facial with boosters, which can help skin concerns such as redness, acne, dryness, and discoloration.
Premier HydraFacial
This advanced HydraFacial includes everything we love about the Signature HydraFacial, plus your choice of a booster to enhance your results. Not sure which booster to choose from? Your provider will assess the skin and make the proper recommendation for you! The Premier HydraFacial also includes dermaplaning for added exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz). This added exfoliation allows for the serums of the HydraFacial to penetrate deeper and be more effective.
Ultimate HydraFacial
Combine all of the steps of the Premier HydraFacial to the face and décolleté (neck) with a casmara mask for extra hydration. Casmara masks are alae-based peel off treatments, which are comprised of seaweed extract, offering a powerful hydrating effect. Casmara masks can be applied to the entire face, including lips and eyes, which are two areas that are typically neglected by products. To conclude the treatment, you have the choice between a lip or eye perk, where half is applied in the office and the other half is yours to take home and incorporate into your skin routine.
Boosters
Boosters are added to customize your HydraFacial and address concerns such as redness, acne, dryness, and discoloration. Popular boosters include:
• Zo Rozatrol Booster- helps relieve visible signs of redness and sensitive skin. Detoxifies the skin while hydrating the skin’s barrier. Good for patients with rosacea or inflammation (including acne inflammation).
• Nassif Hydration Booster- hydrates and repairs the skin, leaving it rejuvenated and radiant. Good for patients with dry skin or eczema.
• Britenol Booster- helps brighten and balance skin tone by minimizing the appearance of dark spots. Good for patients with sun damage and want to brighten/lighten the skin.
