Its October again! And with it the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month aimed at increasing knowledge and awareness of the disease.
According to the American Cancer Society, a woman will be diagnosed with Cancer every two minutes this year. This includes cancer ranging from stage zero – to invasive breast cancer which is the deadliest stage and form of the disease.
While specialists are certainly hard at work on a cure, the best way to combat breast cancer is early detection and screening. Since 1990, breast cancer death rate is down 34% due to these reasons along with better technology.
