Previously, we’ve used combo therapy at MidAmerica (commonly HALO + BBL), where we would complete both treatments separately, but at the same appointment. This would result in a longer appointment time, thus longer time for the patient going through treatment. With HALO TRIBRID, the machine delivers multiple wavelengths simultaneously, giving our providers unlimited choices to precisely tailor treatments to the specific skin concerns of their patients.
The best part is that everybody can benefit from a custom treatment with HALO TRIBRID, and anybody is the ideal candidate. It doesn’t matter your skin type, color, age, or lifestyle, this laser can fit each person’s goals. The comfort and downtime may depend on a person’s specific needs, however.
A topical medical-grade numbing cream is applied prior to treatment for optimal comfort, but some parts of the face may feel spicy depending on the depth used. Swelling and redness is normal for 3-5 days post-treatment, so keep this in mind with scheduling around your events. Overall, the treatment is tolerable and you can expect to feel a warmth similar to a sunburn for a few hours prior. Our providers make sure you are well informed prior, during, and after treatment.
