They may look similar, but each offers unique benefits designed to address different skin concerns.

Triple Action Kojic Pads are one of our favorite options for patients looking to address brown spots, sun damage, and melasma-related discoloration. Kojic acid helps reduce excess pigment production in the skin, gradually improving the appearance of dark spots and creating a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
Why we carry them: They're effective, convenient, and simple to use. To use Triple Action Kojic Pads, you just wash, apply, and go! DO NOT use any products after the pads or you will neutralize the active ingredients.
Who they're best for: Patients with brown spots, uneven skin tone, or melasma who want a straightforward, low-maintenance approach to brightening their skin.
The goal: Address stubborn discoloration with a customizable treatment approach.
While Kojic Pads offer a simple approach to brightening, our Brightening Pads provide another option for patients who may need a more targeted pigmentation treatment. One of their distinguishing features is the ability to incorporate hydroquinone (HQ), a pigment-reducing ingredient commonly used to treat conditions such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) and melasma.
Why we carry them: They give us the flexibility to address more persistent pigmentation concerns with a customizable formulation. They're also currently our only skincare product offering hydroquinone.
Who they're best for: Patients experiencing post-acne dark spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma, or more stubborn discoloration. Those with particularly sensitive skin may require a different approach.
The goal: Complement your existing skincare routine!
Unlike Kojic and Brightening Pads, Plated Prep Pads aren't primarily intended to target dark spots or melasma. Instead, they're designed to gently exfoliate and prepare the skin for subsequent skincare products, making them a complementary addition to an existing (plated) regimen.
Why we carry them: They offer a gentle alternative to traditional toners and are specifically designed to complement Plated products without adding unnecessary irritation.
Who they're best for: Patients already investing in (plated) products such as the Intense or Daily Serums. These exosome pads are also great for those looking to replace their toner, or individuals seeking a gentle chemical exfoliation option.
