What Can Be Done?

Dr. Ryan Diederich performs gynecomastia surgery, often called male breast reduction, in Glen Carbon for men from Maryville, Edwardsville, and the St. Louis area who want to reduce enlarged male breasts. He typically uses one or a combination of the following techniques:

  • Liposuction: Works especially well in gynecomastia that is primarily the result of excess fatty tissue deposition.
  • Excision: For men with excessive amounts of glandular tissue, excision, or a combination of excision and liposuction, is necessary.
